Happy New Year!

We have a new look for our website and hope you'll find it user friendly. There are so many different tabs to check explore. We hope you'll be patient with us as we strive to keep you informed through the website. We are truly a work in progress!

It's hard to believe we are already beginning the second semester of school! This semester will be just as busy as ever. Please encourage your child to do his/her best and stay focused on their education at all times. Thank you for staying involved in the academic success of your child.

I am a respectful student. I am responsible, resilient, and ready to learn. I will focus on what's important; my academics and being the best that I know I'm supposed to be.

I was born and raised in McKenzie and a graduate of McKenzie High School. My one and only child, Tony, is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

I am a proud Army veteran. In addition, two of my brothers served in the Marines and Army. We are always mindful of the men and women who have served and continue to serve our country. I have more than 20 years of public school experience and approximately seven years of college/university experience. My hobbies include traveling, playing basketball, watching professional football, reading, and photography.

I firmly believe that education unlocks doors of opportunity for anyone who is committed and willing to pursue it.
