I am a McKenzie High School graduate. I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Memphis and my Master's degree from Bethel University. I am married to Mike Austin, and we have three children (Logan, Brittany, and Scott) and eight grandchildren.
I am entering my 24th year as a teacher in the McKenzie School System. This is my fifth year to teach 6th grade science. Before moving to science, I taught 6th grade ELA.
